	Dinner Monday evening
	Just a short note to let you know that our dinner Monday evening was outstanding. The entire experience from our reception upon arrival, with an offer to hang up jackets, and asking whether we had had a chance to call ahead (much classier than asking if we had a reservation..), to the exquisitely prepared meal to the excellent service from Colin our server. He was knowledgeable , informative and engaging without being the least bit intrusive on our special dinner. The complimentary glass of sparkling wine was a particularly nice touch. Altogether it made for a wonderful anniversary dinner for Louise and me. We now know when in Ottawa for dinner, from now on it will be the Empire Grill. Thanks again. Ken and Louise

	A dinner hit!
	Six of us went to the Empire Grill for my boyfriends birthday. They did an excellent job from start to finish. The food was excellent and the service attentive. Our glasses were never empty and we never asked for a thing. I had made an inline reservation and in it I had mentioned the birthday and his desert was served with candles. At no time did we feel like we were being rushed to make way for the next customers. We spent five hours enjoying a well paced meal with excellent service and great friends. 	Great patio
	I really love this patio they have tall tables, and short tables. Fun to sit with friends, and people watch over some sangria and calamari. This is also a great place for a date!! As seen on Trip Advisor

	Filet breaks into the top 3 steaks of all time!
	My wife and i currently moved to Ecuador for a posting for 3 years. We’ve been living in South America for the last year. Came back to Ottawa for a wedding and decided to have lunch on the patio of the Empire Grill on the perfect day to be in the Market in Ottawa I normally don't review restaurants, but the fillet that i had was one of the best steaks that I’ve had in years. I would certainly have to say that it was the most well prepared filet I’ve had ever. Literally melted like butter when you eat it. The service is and has always been great at the Grill. Prices are high, but certainly well worth the extra penny. Thanks Empire for making our first dining experience back in our home city well worth it. As seen on Trip Advisor

	Big success!
	I meant to get back to you earlier to let you know that we all had such an amazing time at my bachelorette party. There were about 16 of us and Mark was our server. He really MADE our evening. He was such a professional yet joked with us and we all had such a great time. Thanks again and I know that some of the girls had never been to your restaurant before but they said that they would definitely return. Thanks again

	Last Evening..
	Last evening was the first time in many years that we went to Empire for dinner (following a long spell out of the country. The service we received was excellent. Our server was very pleasant and helpful. She ensured that we had everything we needed all without being intrusive. Our steaks were absolutely wonderful – tender and very tasty. We felt that the price was very reasonable for a meal of that quality. We will very likely return another time. Sincerely, Bill Bottomley

	Perfection!!
	Good Afternoon, Thank you for the follow up. Everything was perfect and thank you going out of your way to make my Colleagues so welcome. Thank you for the separate dining area it made the evening that much more special for us all. My compliments to Jason our server who new just how to handle our group and humour us along the way and the Manager who went out of her way to please one of our member's special request. Our compliments to the Chefs who prepared our meals, they were indeed very tasty, presented with perfection and enjoyed my all. I am sure some of our colleagues will be recommending your restaurant when we have our conference in June 2012 with well over 200 delegates as an option when they have some free time. 	The Perfect Night! Thank You!
	Dear Melissa, Hi there. First of all, I am writing on behalf of David as well. He is in Germany right now and is crazy busy. It is important to the both of us that we write this letter. Thank you very much for a wonderful dinner at Empire Grill on Friday April 15. It started off with a warm smile given at the reception and the evening just got better. We ordered the calamari to start. We were pleasantly surprised on how is was lightly fried and full of flavour. I loved it!!! Our main course tasted amazing. Service was perfect. Not too attentive but enough to help maintain and promote a memorable conversation between David and me. Our dining experience that evening was wonderful. I love my time I spend with my hubby and having great service and food promotes a flowing conversation and of course...romance. David and I have been married for 20 years and have known each other for 25....so spending quality time at a great restaurant is important to us. As well, It is equally important to David when he takes his clients out so they can focus on the important and necessary issues. We are very confident that we will continue to only have positive experiences in the near future at Empire Grill Ottawa. It is amazing how important the role of providing a great dining experience is. The power it has to enhance relationships whether it is personal and or business. 	Very Happy Bride and Groom!
	Hi Sam, On behalf of Vince and all of our friends and family, I just want to thank you and the staff of the Empire Grill for helping us have the most amazing wedding ever! We honestly could not be happier with everything! The room looked incredible, the atmosphere was outstanding, the staff was amazing and the food was absolutely delicious!! We have gotten so many compliments on the food & service. Staff even helped my parents carry some of the food and decor to their car across the street in the parking lot at the end of the night. The whole reception was truly a dream come true. Thank you so much for all of your hard work in putting and pulling it all together. We are elated and still on a high from the night. Please pass on our sincere thank you to everyone at the Empire Grill and we wish you all nothing but the best! We will definitely be spreading the word to everyone we know that holding an event at the Empire Grill is basically the best decision someone could make. 	Wed, June 29th - Thank You
	Hi Melissa, I am writing you once again to thank you and your staff and emphasize the true professionalism and classy atmosphere as exhibited by your group at Empire Grill last Wednesday for our event. Starting with you- it is a true pleasure dealing with someone who understands the needs and planning which go into these events. We had 14 top Specialists from the Ottawa Hospital who were very impressed with how organized the evening was- this is thanks to you. Your AV specialist deserves credit as well for setting us up from the moment we walked in- thank you Kyle! Last but not least- our server Amanda was sharp as usual and made all guests feel extremely welcome throughout the evening- she deserves a lot of credit for her efforts. These many reasons are why I will always look to Empire Grill as my 1st choice to host some of my future events as I know it will always be a first class affair. (We discussed another event that evening with this group for September) Without trying to embarrass you guys, could you forward this message to your superiors as well as the staff as mentioned above. 	Hi Samantha. First off, I wanted to say thanks to Empire Grill for a great event. I also wanted to say that you have one of the best Concierge Waitresses/Servers (I like to think of them as client service reps) in Trish that I have ever seen. Compliments to her as to how to work the room, keep glasses full, and ensure clients have a great time. I mean that sincerely and for your benefit the bills are much higher as a result, so if there is a "employee of the month" reward program at your business or something to that effect, please put her name forth on RBC's behalf. She knows how to deliver great customer service which is a differentiator for restaurants, it's just not the food and wine, but the experience that keeps people coming back, and we'll be back to host other like events in future. 	August 7, 2009. Hi Marlene, I just wanted to send you an email in regards to a recent visit I had at your establishment. I wanted to let you know what a great experience I had on Thursday night at the Empire Grill. I have worked in the restaurant industry and know that it only seems to be complaints that are brought to the attention of management, so I always thought that given the opportunity to pass along a great experience, I would do just that. I was happy to have sat on your patio with some friends to enjoy great company and the beautiful weather. The night was completed with great food and exceptional service.
